AC Mas - Vin Winery

The agricultural cooperative “Olive and Wine” was founded in 2006 with the aim to contribute to the rural development of Ravni kotari. The seat of the cooperative is in Polača. The project “MasVin” is the result of the vision of several people who were granted easement for the mine-ridden karst, rocky terrain and waste disposal area for the duration of 50 years and turned it into fertile land for ecological farming.
The cooperative’s goal is the production of products of superb quality through olive growing and oil production (extra virgin olive oil and various table olives products), winemaking (top-quality and quality wines) and figs and their products.
12 000 olive trees have been planted on 41 ha of reclaimed and cultivated land. In 2007 the planting of 11 ha of vineyards began. 1000 trees of quality domestic varieties of fig have been planted.
