TOP-QUALITY POŠIP – Blato 1902 Plc.

This wine is produced from the native grape variety of the Korčula wine region which gives it a very distinct taste and it is counted among the best wines of the south. We began with the ambitious line of Pošip with the vintage of 2002. The top-quality Pošip of Blato is a shiny, clear, straw yellow wine with a greenish-silvery reflection. It is full bodied and dense and leaves a thick coating on the glass. It is mineral, and its first aroma is dominated by the scent of the sea. It opens gradually and the most interesting phase is when it becomes smoky with the scent of dry figs, Mediterranean herbs and pine needles. It is dry, juicy and pleasant in the mouth but not too heavy mid-palate, as is proper for a Pošip. It is crisp and fresh and has a piquant aftertaste with the aroma of bitter almonds.
