The Zidarević family started one of the first private wineries in Croatia back in 1985 and is surely one of those who paved the way for many others who later decided to get into viticulture and winemaking as their primary activity. Davor and Višnja Zdjelarević inherited the family estate in Brodski Stupnik in 1987 and that is when their story of Croatian wines started, lasting now for thirty years. Creativity and ambition, and even a certain departure from fixed norms have enabled this winemaker to constantly improve and set new standards on the Croatian wine scene.

“Zdjelarević Wine Selection” is a new company, the legal successor of the Zdjelarević brand owned by its creator Davor Zdjelarević.
Motivated by the dynamic development of the wine market, after they decided to sell the real estate part of the business in Brodski Stupnik, the Zdjelarević family founded a new company and started a unique new project – the first diffuse winery in Croatia. Continuing with the production of our well-known wines, today we differentiate our products into several different series and wine styles under the names Klink@, Special Edition, ZWS, Nagual and Grof. All our wines today are created following a clear concept and strictly defined enological guidelines of Davor Zdjelarević and are technically produced in cooperation with fellow winemakers and in their cellars at many production locations across Croatia and the region.
We approach the sale of our wines very selectively: we do not offer our wines in large commercial systems but in carefully selected wine shops and in the Horeca sales channel through our regional distributors. Today we especially focus on active correspondence via social networks and direct sales through our web shop.
