Among the white varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay is the greatest cosmopolite and today, there is practically no country and no vineyard that does not have it in its assortment. This Chardonnay from our winery is a schoolbook example of vinification. Beautiful, harmonious, barrique wine that manages to avoid all trendy versions and dangers of ‘chardonnisation’ of the global wine market. It pairs well with all sour cream and egg based pastas, and with most semi-hard cheeses.
Technological data: partial defoliation of the grapevine, late vintage, maceration for a period of 12 hours, traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks, aging in barrels made of French, Slavonian and American oak for a minimum period of 12 months.
Colour
Golden-hay yellow colour with a greenish hue and crystal purity and clarity.
Aroma
Primary aromas of a ripe pear and green apples, cantaloupe with strong mineral tones and ripe elements of white fruits upon opening.
Flavour
Dry, bodied, good concentration of fruit flavours with mineral tones, very graceful, harmonious, long aftertaste.
