Dingač Skaramuča Winery

The tradition of viticulture and winemaking in the Skaramuča family is as old as the family from Pelješac itself. Generations ago the first grapevines of the best quality were planted. On the beautiful slopes of Dingač, for the past twenty years, the family has continuously expanded the now extensive grapevine plantations of plavac mali. Esteemed Croatian winemaker Ivo Skaramuča is the owner and the person behind the idea of producing wine under the brand Skaramuča. The true story of the success of this brand starts with the year 1992, when Skaramuča was able to open up a business as a private producer of grapes and wine in Croatia, which opened up the possibility of positioning the brand at the top of Croatian winemaking. Today Ivo Skaramuča is one of the largest private winemakers of Croatia and the owner of the largest vineyard in the Dingač area, comprising 165 000 vine- stocks. In the conditions of the Mediterranean climate, characterized by short and mild winters and long and warm summers abundant with sunshine, wines with the ideal proportions of alcohol, acids, minerals, tannins, color, proteins and vitamins are produced.
