The beginning of the winery Terra Madre can hardly be described as the classic start of a winemaker. Although the vineyards are located on a rocky land, the beginning of the work was more like setting a cornerstone for a big building, rather than preparing a vineyard ground. The heavy mechanization caught the attention and awakened curiosity. But after a great effort and desire, with the help of God, the skimpy land gave the sprouts.
After several years of patience and caring for that gift of nature, taken from the karst, the first bottle was produced. From then on, through love, anger, defiance, vineyard has developed and progressed. Impressive, worthy of all admiration and respect, because 17 hectares is a lot ... a lot for the hike tour, let alone take away from the rock.
The feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction is most certainly enjoyed by those who accomplished this achievement, but in the end, Croatia got another recognized vineyard. Komarna has started her wine story and will still tell us a lot ... Terra Madre wines are telling theirown - the story about a pure drop from the rock.
