The tradition of winemaking in the family of Mladen Tomašić is half a millennium old. Many documents, some of them several hundred years old, testify that it was through winemaking that the family supported itself on the island. The family also produces olive oil.

With family tradition as the foundation, Mladen Tomašić – Barbazza started with modern wine and olive oil production in 2000. We produce Pošip and Plavac mali wines, both top- quality and quality, as well as extra virgin olive oil. The excellence of the products and the skill in winemaking and olive oil production are attested by the “Croatian Island Product” mark of quality. All products can be tasted at the winery, where visitors can also see details and documents which marked history of the family.
