The Rossi family has been nurturing the tradition of winemaking since 1885, when our great-great-grandfather Federico Rossi bought a piece of fertile land on the hill above the Mirna river and planted first vines of teran and malvasia. He could not have known that his fifth generation descendants would still be producing wines, let alone indigenous Istrian wine varieties and spirits bringing them to their enological perfection. The great-great grandfather's dream has turned into 18 hectares of cultivated and carefully nurtured vineyards located on hill tops and best locations. Their fruits gave us the opportunity to create an impressive range of products. In addition to numerously award-winning premium wines, traditional Istrian spirits and Premium Craft liqueurs, we have also produced our own gin and brandy, made in the tradition of premium-grade French cognacs. Under the motto 'It's not the quantity, but the quality that matters' we have made strategic investments in cutting-edge and innovative technologies which will not only help us maintain but also raise the quality of our products in all segments of their production. Our goal is to position our wines and distillates at the top of the premium segment on the domestic and foreign markets as well as to postulate the Rossi family brand as a synonym for uncompromising wine and distillate quality. Because we want to create something of value.
