Kunčić Winery

The Kunčić winery is located in Banfi, in the last meters of northwestern Croatia. The border line with Slovenia passes through the courtyard and the Kunčić house, and from the terrace of their winery, a view breaks through the landscape of the Slovenian Pomurje region and the slightly more distant Hungary and Austria. Another interesting fact is that the Kunčić winery is the northernmost Croatian winery.
Ana and Dragutin Kunčić take care of the farm, and son Denis and his wife Barbara continue the family tradition of winegrowing and cellaring. In 1998, we started to modernize and expand the vineyard and cellar. Currently, the vineyards cover 10 ha in the northern part of Međimurje, and in order to achieve the highest possible quality of wine, the vines are grown using single-armed guyot method. In the desire for serious and long-term viticulture, quality is the only possible choice. There is also a spacious wine tasting room next to the house, which, with prior notice, can accommodate up to 50 people, as well as the same number on the terraces with a view of the beautiful views.
