Florijanović Winery

On the central slopes of the Moslavačka Mountain with a view on the Lonja Field, at 140-170 m of altitude and exclusively on the southern and southeastern hillsides the 7 ha of Florijanović family’s vineyards are located. They are situated at several locations between the town of Popovača and the place Voloder, known both as the home of Škrlet, the autochthonous variety of Moslavina, and the place with the largest plantations of Škrlet in Moslavina. The Voloder Autumns are a traditional event every year at the beginning of September. The basis of the winery’s production is Škrlet, grown on 3.5 ha. Other wines offered at the winery and tasting room are two more autochthonous varieties – Moslavac and Dišeća ranina, as well as other wines of continental Croatia – Graševina, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Gris, Frankovka, Frankovka rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir.
Annual production reaches up to 40 000 l, and the total capacity of the cellar is 70 000 l. The capacity of the tasting room is 50 persons. The winery is in the process of modernizing the equipment and changing old winemaking equipment for new through the EU funded project Vinska omotnica (“Wine Envelope” – new equipment includes a press, fermenter, crusher, cooler, stainless steel tanks, automatic corker and labeling machine, pumps, system for digital cooling control, gas system and other equipment necessary for the modernization of production).
Numerous golden and other medals for the quality of wine and label design have been won over the years at Moslavina wine exhibitions, as well as regional and international exhibitions. The winery organizes an exhibition event “Kak su brali naši stari (tradicional harvest) traditionally every year at the beginning of September, using traditional tools for the transport and processing of grapes from the winery’s own eno-collection, and in this way it contributes to the preservation of cultural and rural heritage.
