Sesan Winery

On the gentle hills of Štakorovac close to Dugo Selo the cellar and family farm of the young winemaker and viticulturist Orlando Sesan are located. Continuing the family tradition, he successfully cultivates 9000 grapevines. The varieties grown are Rhine Riesling, Graševina, Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat, Traminac and Frankovka. They are varieties that demand dedicated work and a lot of effort on a daily basis. His work was awarded gold for the years 2004, 2008 and 2012. He was voted best in Dugo Selo, Brckovljani, and the gold awarded also came from the Zagreb County. In 2013 a small wine shop was opened in Dugo Selo. Sesan Winery is one of the more serious wineries of this region, where viticulture has been present for centuries. Their dedicated work and serious approach create the foundation for placing the winemaking of Dugo Selo in its deserved place.
