ROSE ICONIC - Lagena

VINEYARD
Pure Cabernet Sauvignon 12 years old, grown on the old vineyard position of Fofunka. Soil of deep profile, clay with silicate rocks. Due to higher quality of grapes and concentration of aromas, yields are reduced to an average of 1.5 kg per vine.

VINIFICATION
The vineyard is harvested by hand in the early morning while the grapes are cold and macerated very briefly, only 2 hours to keep the color tender pink. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees.

WINE DESCRIPTION
The variety is Cabernet Sauvignon. The color is delicate, airy, with a hint of pink. Fresh on the nose, fruity, with an association of strawberries and other delicate, fresh red fruits. Although it is dry in the mouth, it leaves a pleasant feeling of sweetness, it has a long lasting taste. It's medium-bodied and with a gentle, soft touch of tannin that gives it a bit of firmness. A light, drinkable, fresh summer wine.
