Illyricum 2015 is a dry red wine from the opus of top quality products. Wine is a bland of varieties Cabernet sauvignon and Plavac mali, grapes coming from ecological vineyards in the Vira bay, which we planted in 2012. Along with the vineyard, the old Illyrian cemeteries were found, and the wine was named.
Plavac mali and Cabernet sauvignon are separately vinificated, then blanded and stand in barrique barrels. In this way, the aroma of Plavac mali (dried plums and ripe grapes) with elegantly tanned and pleasant tannins perfectly complement the aromas (red and black berry fruit) and the freshness of Cabernet sauvignon. The wine has moderately spiced notes of oak (vanilla, tobacco). The maturity length varies, depending on the specifics of the harvest itself and the year. The wine is a deep red ruby-garnet, pleasant acids and medium intensity.
It is served at room temperature of 18 ° C. It is recommended with a wide range of moderate dishes, especially with beef, chicken breasts and various cheeses.
