The premium dry wine Škrapa, the pride of the Marlais family, is made from carefully selected berries of the Plavac mali variety from vines aged 30 to 65 years in our family vineyards. Each vine yields only one kilogram of berries, which undergo a long process of maceration, fermentation and aging. After 4 years in oak barrels and an additional 2 years in the bottle, Škrapa reaches its full potential and is ready for your glass. This premium dry wine is no ordinary one. It was created on the centuries-old tradition of making wine from Plavac mali grapes from the southern slopes of the Pelješac peninsula. It matured in the silence of oak barrels, giving it a bright ruby color and a full, rounded flavor with a balance of tartness and sweetness. Fruity and herbal aromas give it complexity and harmony.
Decant and serve at 16-18 °C. Serve with ripe hard cheeses and red meat dishes.
