PJENUŠAVO VINO ROSE - Babos

The Babos Sparkling rosé wine is made of Muscat rose and Teran grapes. The grapes are harvested by the end of August in order to maintain the high acidity, necessary for a good sparkling wine. Produced with the Charmat Method. The wine is classified as “extra dry” and has a cherry pink color. Distinguished by an elegant perlage with a lot of tiny, long-lasting bubbles. Distinguished by aromas of raspberries and blueberries, a scent of yeast, a bit of dry fruits and a hint of bread crust with meadow honey. The wine is semi-sweet, has a good acidity that creates balance in the mouth. It has a raspberry aftertaste.

Vinification

Manual selection of bunches. Soft pressing of grapes after removal of stalks and cold maceration for 1 hour before pressing. Alcoholic fermentation, at controlled temperature (16°C), lasts 12 days. After a period of maturation, the wine is refermented in autoclave with the Charmat Method and then bottled.
