ŠKRLET ICONIC - Lagena

VINEYARD
Position Ilovčak, Exclusively south slope at 255 meters above sea level. Soil of deep profile, silkwormwith silicate rocks. Škrlet for the Iconic label was raised on a surface of 1.2 hectares of the best soil and exposure. Due to the higher grape quality and aroma concentration, the yields were reduced to an average of 1.3 kg per vine.

VINIFICATION
The harvest was done manually on the first days of September. Maceration was performed for 6 hours and then flotated and left for fermentation. The fermentation lasted for 20 days at a controlled 16 degree temperature. After fermentation, the wine was left on a coarse residue with occasional stirring over 120 days.

WINE DESCRIPTION
The wine is light, bright, shriveled in color of greenish resin.On nose clean, with floral and fruit notes (meadow flowers, citrus fruit). The scent is distinctly recognizable and authentic. The palate is dry, extractive and medium full body with 13,0% alcohol. Wineglasses with fruity appetite peach, apricot, tropical fruit and green apple, have a very long lasting effect. Wine is a balanced structure, intensely aromatic and full of freshness that lasts in the gut. The time in the bottle will additionally be harmonized, but it is recommended to enjoy the wine immediately and during the 2 to 3 years after the harvest.
