VALBISUGO - Babos

This aged Malvasia is a blend of tradition and modern technology. The wine is characterized by a golden color, it is crystal clear. Fresh-fruity and floral scents of acacia and vanilla are emphasized on the nose. The wine is dry on the palate, warm and partly soft, and on the other hand it has beautiful freshness that very quickly creates a good balance in the mouth, it is extremely tasty and adorned with a rich body.

Vinification

Wine obtained from the Istrian Malvasia variety from the old Valbisugo vineyard planted in 1974 in the north of Vodnjan. The best grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September. After a long maceration, the wine is aged in wooden barrels for 12 months. The last phase of the process is bottling without filtration and aging the wine in bottles for 6 months.
