Two recognizable chefs, Anđelko and Zlatko, who have built their culinary identity, are the most prominent participants of the Varaždin gastronomic stage. They are professionals with a high level of sense of taste harmony while at the same time expressing a strong commitment to creative and exploratory culinary art. Both of them are national champion chef, with medals from world chefs competitions. They are the most awarded chef team in Croatia. Their meals are based on the background of the research of the original local recipes with the technically perfect and imaginative use of the best foodstuffs, especially local (cabbage, pumpkins oil, fresh vegetables, turkey ...) and place them in the position of creators and leaders of the new Varaždin cuisine, based on the principles of top gastronomy, the tradition of local dishes and groceries refined by applying the latest world trends and techniques in food preparation. They also believe that the kitchen has to be highly authoritative in order to turn everyday local meals into gastronomic shows. Their first independent restaurant that opens in 2015, for these reasons, is perceived as the Varaždin's fortification of top quality food.
