Plasa Winery started producing wines in 2000. The winery is located in the place Smokvica, positioned on the southern slope of a hill on the island of Korčula, and is surrounded with expansive grapevine plantations. Along with the autochthonous white grape variety Pošip and red variety Plavac, Plasa Winery is the only winery in Smokvica also offering the white wine Grk, which is primarily a variety of the Lumbarda area. The winery’s wine cellar is located at the point where the main road leaves Smokvica and is especially attractive because of its terrace which offers a view of the whole of Smokvica along with its fields and all the way to the sea.
