Notturno, or Syrah, the wine is intense darkish-brown color, enhanced by the aromas of black berry fruit with discrete notes of pepper, coffee and dark chocolate. It is distinguished by its extraction, alcohol 14.0 vol% and the expressed tanins.
The vintage 2016 is also our first harvest of Syrah, the grapes are from our own plants, and the characteristics of the year enabled us to obtain top quality wines. Modern and controlled primary processing technology has been complemented by two-year maturation in barrique oak barrels with varying degrees of ignition. With this combination, we have managed to preserve and highlight the characteristics of the variety, which are refined by harmonious aromas of oak wood.
Notturno is a vigorous wine, and so are a meals to pair with. Best to pair with red meat, blue fish, spicy cheeses, goulash and desserts of forest fruits.
